Valentine's Day Dinner


Monday 14 February

Holt did his classic version of Julia's butterflied leg of lamb; parsnips and carrots and red onions went into the pan to roast along.

Valentine's day requires a dessert, so Holt made triple sec crepes with apple walnut and maple syrup filling, drizzled with chocolate ganache rather than the cinnamon cream and fudge sauce.

Wine was "The Other" meritage; because Valentine's day is about loving The Other.
