Sausage and Fennel Fry


Thursday 6 September
Really simple: Trader Joe's mild Italian sausages, skootched out of their skin and crumbled into largeish nuggets, fried up with a slivered onion, sliced fennel bulb, and sliced yellow pepper. 
We seasoned it with ground fennel seed, and there were fronds of the fresh fennel, so I guess we could be ultra-cheffy and call it fennel three ways.  But we won't.

And as usual, Dora preferred playing with the fennel even to sticking her head in the sausage.
