Italian Spaghetti with Chinese Meatballs

We had eight pork meatballs left over from the batch we made for the Chinese longbeans Wednesday, and decided to do a bit of ethnic mismatching. 

Just made a quick tomato sauce (with onion, garlic, a half a big can of pulverized tomatoes, and a blob of tomato paste), jazzed up with some of our halved volunteer tomatoes from the garden; mixed the meatballs in to get coated; and served them over what David Letterman's mom called "Eye-talian spaghetti."  And you know - it was pretty damn flavorful.
