Venison Sausages and Sprouts

Monday 6 January

The Co-op (not to mention the Sunday Summertown Farmers' Market) offers items that would be rare in the US, such as the venison sausages we consumed tonight.  
We simply browned, then splashed them with red wine, and covered to braise, accompanied by fried onions.  
Alongside, we had steamed brussels sprouts from the nice girl at the farmers' market who actually cleans her vegetables (and you can tell by this that some don't).
