New Year Salmon and Gyoza

Wednesday 1 January
As a last effort toward cleaning our preferred foods out of the freezer and making room for everyone else's, we defrosted some salmon fillets and panfried them this way, with mustard and cream (the latter almost didn't make it into the dish).
Served with vegetable gyoza from Trader Joe's, and fresh cranberry relish.  Okay, it's a bit incoherent, but at this point so are we.
