Zephyr Squash Carbonara

Got home after a less accident-ridden but still long drive back from Nashville, and needed a quick, tasty, and preferably fresh meal.  

Jamie Oliver's courgette (read Zephyr squash) carbonara was our choice, which we made strictly according to the recipe, with egg yolks and cream, as we now need to save the extra eggwhites for granola.
We even decorated the plate with sprigs of thyme blossom, as suggested.
