Luna, Hvar

Sunday 31 May
Today we took a ferry trip to Hvar, to the town billed as the Croatian Mykonos.  They have that dolce far niente attitude in common, meaning that we soon ran out of things to do, and went early to a grand lunch on the topmost, sailclothed terrace at Luna.

We were happy to discover another new and vowelless grape: Prč, in its home territory Hvar, from Vujnović vintage 2013.
Another local specialty made an abundant lunch all by itself: Hvarska Gregada - a kilo of freshest sea bass, bream, and red snapper, cooked up with potatoes and onions in an iron casserole, and served therein.

And so, still stuffed, to the return ferry, back to Split, and to bed early; we had to wake at 4:30 AM to get out to the airport and make our way back home.
