After Brian's talk this evening at
the Art Museum, Kathleen and Steve kindly had a group of us over for a buffet
supper, allowing us to eat, chat, drink, wind down, and generally celebrate.
Most impressive was that Kathleen
herself made Steve's signature cilantro chicken salad. The groaning board also featured
ham, roast beef, salad, chilpotle mayonnaise, and other garnishes.
As we ate, wet snow cascaded down
outside; we had to slide down the driveway to our cars, and as it turned out,
we wouldn't be able to get together the next day. But it was a delightful dinner and chat-fest, so thanks, Kathleen and Steve!
