Linguiça with Red Cabbage and Onions

Wednesday March 6
As implied yesterday, today was declared a snow day by UC, so we stayed at home and had a special occasion lunch: smoked whitefish, gently flaked, deboned, and then whizzed up in the robot-coupe with 2 Tbsp. of minced red onion, a big dollop of mayonnaise, and a big squeeze of lemon juice - better than anything Acme ever made.
After that, a late dinner was all we could handle.  We cooked a variation of our usual kielbasa with red cabbage, using Kroger Brothers' linguiça instead of kielbasa, and leaving out the apples ('cause we didn't have any).
It was pretty tasty, nonetheless.
