Fettucine Alfredo with Sausage and Mushrooms

There were a few mushrooms left over from Saturday's Wellington, a half pound of Bare's bulk sausage, and a lot of cream.  What better, then, than a warming fettucine Alfredo?  Not much.


Please note that we are using the Saveur style of photography, with a few luscious splatters on the side of the plate, rather than the perfectly-wiped plastic-looking shots in Bon Appetit.
