Penne Alfredo "il Salsiccione" Saffi

We had about a quarter pound of Bare's bulk sausage left over from Saturday's chicken in champagne sauce, so today we made a sort of combo with it and some purple asparagus and cream.  
We think of it as Aurelio Saffi's younger, more raffish brother.  And not bad, either.
