Roast Chicken with Plum-Chili Salsa

This is the season for sweet plums, so we bought a punnet of damsons at the Farmers' Market today.  Holt happened on this recipe for them, and it turned out to be great.  We didn't even bother to cook the marinade - just whizzed it up, and it came out fine.
The only complication was that the plum salsa recipe that was integral to the dish was put onto another webpage, which made us almost miss it in the confusion. 

We're glad we didn't, though - it was one of the best features, and would be great on its own.
Just to add a vegetable, we had a salad of cucumber and daikon on the side, and it gave a nice Asian note.
