Okay, it's an odd combination, but
opportunistic. The chicken was simply
the leftover chicken legs from Friday, but we wanted to warm them up. So we nuked them with the last scrapings of jellified
veal jus left from the Christmas eve bake-off.
On the side, we served a salad of
cold roasted beets tossed with grapefruit sections. You gotta love the combination of sweet beets
and bright citrusy pink grapefruit.
