Pan-fried White Bass with Beet Chutney

Luken's at Findlay Market had a great buy on white bass, at $2.99 a pound.  We didn't know anything about this fish, but a gentleman who was buying some clued us in on it.  We bought a pair of fish, and found a great recipe, which included thick chunks of garlic and a savory wine sauce.

As a side dish, we roasted some beets and made Chez Panisse beet chutney.
We like this chutney just as well as Daniel and Junko's cumin beets, so we'll have to alternate from now on.
Oh - and Dora likes beets as well.
