Leftover Pot Roast on Cornbread

Thursday 4 October
We had to have a quick dinner before a Royal Oak talk at the Taft Museum: Curt diCamillo on Highclere Castle, home of the Earl of Carnarvon (who funded the excavation of Tutankhamun's tomb), and scene of the series Downton Abbey.  We should have gone Egyptian, but there was no time, so we halved some cornbread squares, topped them with pulled potroast and leftover vedge from Tuesday, and nuked them until they were warm.  Very satisfying for being so quick.
Mr. diCamillo was very good too; he has a good database of country houses,
and told us about a great spoof video on the web, Uptown Downstairs Abbey.
But we prefer this.
